Enjoy an exclusive 2.5 hour tour of Villa Farnesina and the surrounding Trastevere area. The villa is considered one of the most precious examples of Italian Renaissance architecture and paintings. You will see mythological and classic frescos by Sebastiano del Piombo, Giulio Romano,Sodoma and Peruzzi. The palace used to be the residence of the Pope's banker Agostino Chigi and of the Farnese famiy later on. It contains also Raphael's unique masterpieces such as the Stories of Cupid and Venus and the Tryumph of Galatea.
