Murnau is a charming town with views of the Alps and two fine small breweries. Located on the large and beautiful Lake Staffelsee, there are numerous hiking trails. The Dragon Slayer Way is one of the most scenic, taking in both mountain views and lake shore walking.

Join Beer Hiking Bavaria author Rich Carbonara as he takes you on the Dragon Slayer Way and finishes up at a one of his favorite breweries for a meal and well-deserved beer. This is what life in Bavaria is all about. Note that this is a private tour and can be tailored to your group's needs.

What's Included

Transportation to and from hike via public transportation.
This is a private tour. It will be only your group and the number of people is how many you book.
Guided 4-mile (7km) hike on the Dragon's Way Trail.
We will be stopping a number of small rural brewpubs and all food and beverages are at your own expense.
Food at brewpubs is also at your own expense.
