Turn Austin Trails area into a giant game board with this fun scavenger hunt adventure. This challenge combines the excitement of the Amazing Race with a three hour city walking tour. Guided from your smart phone, teams make their way among well known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges, while learning local history.

Note: Pricing is per individual but teams must book together in order to be included in the same adventure.

If you haven't already done so, travel by foot, car or public transportation to the NW corner of Barton Springs Road and S.Congress Ave. Public Parking is available in several nearby lots if needed. When you arrive at this starting location, you are ready to begin your adventure.

What to expect

Looking for a way to turn Austin into a giant game board! Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the "Amazing Race" with a three-hour sightseeing tour of Austin. Guided from any smart phone, groups make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. Your Austin Trails amazing scavenger hunt adventure will begin near the "Bat Bridge" and lead you along trails and shaded paths that travel both sides of Lady Bird Lake as you take in the "wild" side of Austin. The game route will take you to famous sculptures, tributes to the cities musicians, hidden art, and grand vistas of the Austin skyline as you explore the best sights and hidden gems of the city.
Using a smartphone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play. Stop for lunch along the Lake or take a stroll on one of the shaded trails… why not, it’s your schedule? Offered at a fixed price for a group vs. per person pricing, this city tour/game offers a great value to those on a budget.
