Your journey begins with a pickup from your Hotel/Riad in Marrakech at 9AM. From there, you'll be whisked away by our driver to the majestic High Atlas mountains. The Atlas mountains day trip from Marrakech is a captivating journey to the heart of the Atlas Mountains, offering a visit to the enchanting site of Imlil, situated in the Mizane valley, which serves as the most popular trailhead in Morocco .
The day trip typically begins with a scenic drive of about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Marrakech to Imlil, the main starting point for treks in the area .
Upon arrival in Imlil, you will meet with your local guide to embark on a guided trek around the villages, providing you with magnificent panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains . Then you will have the opportunity to have lunch at one of the Berber villages , afterwards you will continue your hike returning back to the imlil center from here you will meet with the drive then drive back to Marrakech

What to expect

We pick-up you at 9.00 am transfer to Imlil. On your way you will pass through the town of Tahnaout , where you can stop at a nice spot to take a photo and get the views of the GHighia valley and the village of Azrou it’s listed in the UNESCO world Heritage, Near by there is also Argan Oil Cooperative you have opportunity to visit it and learn how the woman of the cooperative turn the Argan nut into many of the different Argan Oil products Morocco is famous for, You will then continue on through Moulay Brahim gorges here you will have a camel ride for 1 hour and towards to berber villages you will end your camel ride in Asni valley. 

You will then meet your Driver and continue your journey to Imlil where you will stop for welcoming mint tea and meet your Guide before starting your tour of the Area, your guide will give you few proposal of different trails than you have the opportunity to choose from 2 to 3 Hours, and then you will make your way up to Armed village the largest and highest village in Imlil Valley.in your way up to the village of Armed yoy will Enjoy the gorgeous views of High Atlas and ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. 

Your guide will point out things of interest and talk to you about the Berber culture and heritage along the way, once you reach the village of Armed lunch will be at berber family or ( Guest House) Once you enjoyed your traditional lunch and rest you will begin your return trip down the other side of the valley to the starting point ( Imlil) to meet your driver then continue your journey back to Marrakech, arriving back at approximately 6.00 pm.
