    The Memorial Stupa, Thimphu, also known as Memorial Chorten, is a stupa centrally located in the heart of Thimphu valley.     Paro Taktsang

    After a hearty breakfast drive from Punakha to Paro. Hike to Taktshang Monastery, one of the holiest and the most beautiful sites of Bhutan. Taktshang, the tiger’s lair, acquires its name from the legend of its foundation, when in the 8th Century Guru Rinpoche, widely revered as the second Buddha arrived from Tibet flying across the mountains on the back of a tigress.

    Kyichu Lhakhang

    It is one of the oldest temple in Bhutan , founded by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. There are beautiful sights to behold here; the orange tree which bears fruit throughout the year; the foot print impression of third queen Ashi Kesang Wangchuk left due to million of prostration; the statue of giant Guru Rinpoche and goddess Kurukulle.
