We offer Beijing Capital Airport pick-up and drop-off service. If you arrive/depart at Beijing Daxing Airport, there will be an extra cost of RMB 400 one way.
At 8:30 am, meet our guide at your hotel lobby in Beijing downtown area. The first stop today is North Tiananmen Square first, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. You can also see the Chairman Mao’s portrait hanging on the wall of the Gate of Heavenly Peace, which adds a sense of majesty of this grand square.
Then walk to Forbidden City(closed on each Monday), one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built with wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties once lived here.
After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven where Emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties prayed for agriculture harvest from Heaven yearly.
The last stop is to visit the Beijing local folk residence: Hutong Alley. There is opportunity for you to take a rickshaw to explore Hutong to see daily life of native Beijing people. Following the local expert guide, you will find another face of the city that totally different from what you see in major streets. Note: Rickshaw fee is on your own.
At 8:30, meet the tour guide at your hotel lobby and begin the trip to the famous world’s heritage, the Mutianyu Great Wall which enjoys the best quality among all Wall sections in Beijing. If you want to reach the highest point, your guide will help you to buy the cable car tickets on spot(optional choice).
After lunch, we will drive to visit Dingling Tomb, one of the most visited Ming Tombs in Beijing. It is the only officially excavated one among the 13 Ming Tombs.
At last, pay a outer visit to Olympic Park. During 2008 Beijing Olympics, the park served as the major space for many sports items. Now here is translated into a new municipal district. You will have about 30 mins to take photos of the Bird Nest and Water Tube.
After hotel breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby. Move to Beihai Park. Beihai Park is a classic imperial garden in central Beijing, with a history of over 1,000 years. Blending elegant ancient architecture and peaceful lake scenery, it features white pagodas, lush pavilions and winding corridors. It is a perfect place to experience traditional Chinese garden culture and local leisure life.
After that, continue your visit to Yonghe Palace, also called The Lama Temple because it was translated into the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing in Mid and Late Qing Dynasty.
Then head to the Confucius Temple, the memorial temple for the greatest educator in Chinese history. The next stop is Imperial Academy which just locates at opposite of Confucius Temple. It was the highest educational institution in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Then, come to Summer palace. It is the largest and best-preserved royal park in China for emperors’ entertainment with centralized architectural masterpieces.
