This one-day private Xian tour will lead you to two must-see places in Xian: Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Get a deep impression of the awe-inspiring life-size terracotta army and be amazed by the high level of sculpture of the ancients. Visit the South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to learn about the tales of Monk Xuan Zang. Last, walk to the Tang Dynasty city where the lights are shining brightly.
If your hotel is beyond the range, please make your own way to Xian Bell Tower Hotel to meet the group. Or an additional transfer fee will be charged accordingly for the pick-up service.
Our private tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel around 9:00 am. (The guide will call you the night before the meeting to confirm the pick-up time.)
After the meeting, you will be transferred to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum (visiting time 2-3 hours), the most significant discovery of the 20th century. Known as “The Eighth Wonders of the World,” the museum shows a surprisingly high level of sculpture. On the way to Terracotta Warriors, you will pay a visit to the Terracotta Figures factory (visiting time about 40 minutes), which focuses on the reproduction of Terracotta figures.
After having lunch (at your own expense) near the Terracotta Warriors, you will be escorted back to the city to visit the South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (visiting time: 1 hour). Here you can see the landmark building of Xi'an - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a world heritage site. The tour guide will explain the historical story behind it to you. Nowadays, the square is a popular entertainment venue for locals.
After the tour, you will be escorted back to the hotel.
