As the hometown of Terracotta Warriors, Xian is the must-visit city of many tourists’ first or second trip to China. And as the ancient capital city, the history left Xian lots of cultural relics which are also worthy of exploring. Join in a small group to visit Xianis an ideal way to see the most highlight attractions with lower cost. On this small group tour, you will spend one day to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Banpo Museum. On the other day you will explore the sites in Xian downtown area.

In the morning, our guide and driver will pick you up from your downtown hotel. We will drive about 1 hour to Terracotta Warriors. You will have about 2.5 hours exploring the Terracotta Warriors Museum. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the 20th century, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture.
After lunch, continue to visit Banpo Neolithic village. This New Stone Age site, dating from approximately 5,000 to 4,000 B.C., is one of the most complete examples of a Neolithic agricultural settlement in the world. After the whole day’s tour, transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon. Hope you have a wonderful trip.
The tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby. The tour will begin with Small Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the two Buddhist temples built in the Tang Dynasty. The pagoda sits in an ancient Chinese style garden. You will also have chance to visit Xian Museum to appreciate plenty of precious cultural relics.
Next we will move on to North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda to admire the pagoda from a distance and enjoy some relaxing time walking on the square. There is musical fountain show available by schedule. If luckily, you may take a chance to enjoy it.
After lunch, we’ll head to Xian Ancient City Wall. The 600-year-old City Wall is the most completely preserved and largest city wall in China. Visitors can optionally ride bikes on the top of the City Wall to see the city from a unique angle.
After that you will stroll around the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square. The last stop is the Muslim Quarter. Many special local products and snacks could be found along this street. Your tour ends here.
