Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City（closed on each Monday）, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912).

At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First, we will drive to visit ChanglingTomb, the tomb of the 2nd Emperor in the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di.

fter then we will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. cable car is available and optional.

Day 3
Beijing – Shanghai by Bullet Train

In the morning the driver will escort you to Beijing train station for bullet train G3 (08:00-12:32) or similar train to Shanghai.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
The first stop will be Yuyuan Garden which was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. The garden was specially built for Pan’s parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

After that you will take a walk in Yuyuan Market.

Then take a walk on Nanjing Road, the best known shopping street in Shanghai.

After that you will head to Xintiandi, a great place for leisure and amusement where you will meet rows of shops and bars transformed from Shikumen houses.

Then you will pay a visit to the famous Oriental Pearl TV Tower. From the top of the tower, you will have a bird’s eye view of Shanghai City.

At last wander in the Bund Area to have a look at the beautiful scenery of Pujiang River and its banks.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
In the morning we will drive for about 50 minutes to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. The appearance of the town we see today was left from the Ming Dynasty. Nowadays the ancient town is best known for its bridges, old streets, and gardens built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The highlight things to see in the ancient town are: Fangsheng Bridge, Baoguo Temple, Town God’s Temple, and Zhuxi Garden.
