At 08:30 meet our guide in hotel lobby and transfer to visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World”. The museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture. The museum includes three Terracotta figure pits as well as the exhibition hall of Bronze Chariots and Horses.
After lunch, visit Xian Ancient City Wall, the most completely preserved and largest city wall in China. It was built for military defense in the Ming Dynasty, about 650 years ago. You can optionally ride a bike on the city wall.
At last walk along Muslim Street where you will meet lots of local food and snacks. Here you can taste almost all the snacks in Xi’an, including kebabs, steamed buns, spicy lamb trotters, Mutton and Bread Pieces in Soup, lamb in basin, cold rice noodles and so on. You can enquire your local guide and have a try.
After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby to start today's tour. First of all, you will visit the Xi'an Museum, where you appreciate many cultural relics of Xi'an region from all eras, such as tri-colored glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty, Buddhist statues, ancient paintings and calligraphy, and jade. Here, you will also admire the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which is named for its resemblance to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda while being smaller in size. Compared to the hustle and bustle of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area is much quieter.
Then movet to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in the Tang Dynasty to keep Buddhist Sutra brought from ancient India by Master Xuanzang.
Grand Tang All Day Hall is the best place to experience Xi'an Tang culture. The design of the buildings and statues is in Tang style, showing people the ever glory of that great time.End of tour, you will be transferred back to hotel.
Meet our guide in hotel lobby and transfer to airport. On the way you will visit Hanyangling Mausoleum, the mausoleum of Emperor Liu Qi in the Han Dynasty.
