This tour is ideal choice for tourists who have enough time for Xi’an sightseeing and have interest in local food. No tour activities will be arranged on days 1 and day 5 when you arrive and depart Xi’an. In the other 3 days you will visit the classic attractions and especially you will be escorted to visit several food street where you will meet and try some authentic local food. Our guide will be also happy to recommend some restaurants and dishes upon your request.
Offered pickup/drop-off service is available for hotels within 2nd ring road of Xian city. If your hotel beyond the range, please expect it might occur additional transfer fee accordingly.
Our driver will greet you at Xi'an airport/train station by holding a welcome board with your name. Then the driver will transfer you to your hotel. The rest day is free for you(No guide service).
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from hotel and drive to visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
After lunch, head to visit Xian City Wall to learn about that ancient military defensive construction. Visitors could optionally ride a bike on the wall top.
The last stop of today is the Yongxingfang Gourmet Street. Many family-handmade foods which have been lost in big cities can be found here. They cook right in front of you, so you get to see how each food you try was made.
In the morning, you will head to see the Bell and Drum Tower Square to pay an outer visit of the towers.
Next, go to visit the Great Mosque. The Mosque here possesses much Chinese traditional touch in both its design and artistic outlook.
In the afternoon, take a walk in the Shuyuanmen Cultural Street to enjoy some free time.
After that you will visit Eight Immortals Temple, a famous local Taoist temple.
Your Lunch will be on the Muslim Street, the best known food street in Xi'an. Shredded Packaged in Lamb Broth, Beef Pancake, Persimmon Cake, roast lamb and beef, sweet rice with red bean filling, etc. Your local guide will tell you which restaurants sell the best kind to fit your stomach well.
After breakfast, visit Shaanxi History Museum which is one of the biggest museums in China housing the cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and shows the development of the Chinese civilization.
Afterwards, take a walk at the Qujiang Heritage Park, a park with ancient styled building, statues from legendary stories, lakes and plantations.
After lunch, we will go to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in the Tang Dynasty to keep Buddhist Sutra brought from ancient India by Master Xuanzang. Connected with Big Wild goose pagoda, the Great Tang All Day Mall is a newly built area but in ancient styled with many elegant building the sculptures, Shopping Malls and nice restaurant.
Enjoy your free time in the morning till our guide and driver meet you in hotel lobby and then escort you to airport for flight departing(no guide service).
