Explore the ancient city of Xi’an on a two-day group tour. In this tour, visit the highlight attractions in Xian. After a morning pickup at your hotel, the first stop is to the Xian City Wall, which is probably the most complete and best-preserved city wall in China. Walk on the moat while having a panoramic view of the city.
The next stop is the Xian Museum. The museum shows many relics that have been unearthed, showing the history of Xian, the one-time capital of 13 dynasties, its economy, social life, as well as cultural exchange and trade with foreign countries.
On the east side of the square lies with the bell tower with a history over 600 years.
However, on the west lies with the biggest drum tower all over the world. Atop the Bell Tower, you will have a bird- eye view on the whole area.
Just as its name implies, the Muslim Street covers several blocks inhabited by over 20,000 Muslims, where you can experience the local lifestyle and savor different local snakes where your lunch will be served here.
On the way back to the hotel, have a look of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda from outside, one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in China. At last, you are transferred back to your hotel.
After a morning pickup at your hotel, your first stop is the Terracotta Warriors, one of the new world wonders. See massive numbers of life-sized sculptures of ancient warriors and horses, the most significant discovery of the 20th century. These sculptures were built 2,000 years ago to protect the tomb of the first emperor of China. The museum covers an area around 54,134 square feet (16,500 square meters) with three important sections: Pit No. 1, Pit No. 2, and Pit No. 3.
Next drive past the Mausoleum of Qinshihuang. The mausoleum of Qinshihuang is more than a hill, the real tomb was inside the large man-made tumulus which is not excavated.
After lunch, drive to the eastern suburbs of Xian. The Banpo Village is a comparatively integrated commune village site, a typical Matriarchy clan society, a Neolithic site of the Yangshao Culture at Banpo Village, in the Yellow River Valley about 6,000 years ago. The site, with an existing area of about 50,000 square meters, is divided into residential quarters, pottery making area and burial ground. Afterwards you are transferred back to your hotel.
