Annapurna MBC Trek 7 days is the shortest trek to do in Nepal. It is the best and customized trail to Annapurna region of the Himalayan country, Nepal. Annapurna is massif of height 8,091m (26,545ft) and base camp at 4,130m above sea level. Annapurna region is famous for hiking, trekking, expediting and climbing. This short trek gives you the glimpse of Nepalese extreme Himalayas, people of different communities with their own cultures, traditions, and values, rare and unique vegetation and wilderness, and unforgettable trail through the snowy landscape.
Our guide will meet you up one day before your trek starts to brief you about this trip. On the trekking day, our driver along with the guide will pick you up from your hotel. Please get ready in the hotel lobby 15 mins before your trip begins.
Today is the first day of your trek. Our staff will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Kimche (if you start your trek from Pokhara). But if you start your trek from Kathmandu, you will take an early flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then drive to Kimche and trek to Ghandruk (2020m). Today you will walk for about an hour only. If the day remains clear, you will have a nice view of mountains like Annapurna South, Himchuli, Annapurna III, Fishtail, and many more. On the day, you will also explore Ghandruk village, and interact with local people, also visit Gurung museum. Today you will have an interesting trek of about 7 hours to Sinuwa (2,340m) from Ghandruk via Chhomrong. The trail is straight up so you need to keep your pace as slow as possible. At first, you will trek to Komrong Danda and again descend back to Komrong Khola, and then again climb up to Chhomrong (big and beautiful village of the region). From Chhomrong, you will trek down to the river and again climb upward to Sinuwa. If the luck favors you and the weather remains clear, you will have a fantastic view of mountains and surrounding area. Today we wake up in the early morning and observe the greatest view of mountains and the dews-formed environment if the weather remains nice and calm. Then after having a light breakfast, you will start the trek to Deurali (3,200m) which will take about 6 to 7 hours to complete. The trail offers uphill and jungle walks, which will aid you to observe floral and faunal scenario. On the way, you will pass through Bamboo, Dovan, and Himalaya. Today is the most awaited day of the trek when you will reach Annapurna Base Camp, the destination of our trek. Base Camp is located at an altitude of 4,130m. It will take 5 to 6 hours to reach Annapurna Base Camp from Deurali. You will also reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp from where you will have the majestic view of mountains like Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Himchuli, Gandharva Chuli, Glacier Dom, Gangapurna, and many more named and unnamed. From here, you will continue to Annapurna Base Camp. If the luck remains good, you will be able to have the best sunset view ever. This day with an early wake-up, you will have a pleasing Himalayan vista of Annapurna I, Tent Peak, Annapurna South, Barahi Shikhar, Himchuli, and Gandharvachuli. Sunrise view also remains awesome. After having a chill breakfast, we will stay trekking to Bamboo (2,340m) from the base camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp. It will take 6 to 7 hours to reach Bamboo from Annapurna Base Camp. On this day, waking early in the morning is followed by having a light breakfast. Then the trek of the day starts. You will trek from Bamboo to Kyumi via Sinuwa, Chhomrong, and Jhinu. Jhinu is located at an altitude of 1,690m from sea level. Finally, you will reach Kyumi after about 6 hours of walk. This day, you will trek from Kyumi to Kathmandu via Siwai. From there you will drive to Pokhara airport and then take a flight to Kathmandu directly. Stay overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu. Optional: If you had stopped in Jhinu a day before, then this day you will trek to Siwai. It will take approximately 4 hours to reach Siwai from Jhinu. From Siwai, you will drive to Pokhara and this road trip will take 3 hours to complete. Altitude: 1,400 meters Walking time: 3 to 4 hours Driving time: 3 hours (to Pokhara)
