Chepang is one of the marginalized ethnic groups of people residing in the north-central region of Nepal who possesses their own culture, tradition, and language. They are totally untouched by modernization that they are still completely away from present society.
This tour takes you to the unexplored hillside of Dhading and Chitwan districts of Nepal through high waterfalls, valleys, dramatic landscapes, and panoramic mountain views. In this homestay tour, we will experience the nomadic lifestyle of the indigenous Chepang communities who are rich in their own language and tradition which is completely different from the rest of the Nepalese society. Due to this distinct lifestyle and remoteness, they fall under the marginalized group of people in Nepal.

We pick up from any location inside Kathmandu Valley.
Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.
We take an early morning drive to Hungdu Khola through the rushing serpentine river and after that, we trek to Hattibang for about 4 hours through the dense forests, diverse landscapes, and excellent paddy fields. Overnight we stay at a homestay at Hattibang. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Jyandala is a village situated at an altitude of 1600m. On the way, you will observe the surprising Chepang settlements at Juatesh, Changa, and Dinglang with a beautiful panoramic view of Annapurna and Ganesh Himal ranges at the backdrop. Jyandala village is mainly famous for hospitality and generosity. This place offers one of the finest views of the western Himalayas such as Dhaulagiri, Rolwaling, Gaurishanker, Langtang, etc. During the evening, you can also learn to cook Nepal's all-time favorite traditional dish, Dal bhaat.
We continue our trek towards Shaktikhor. Today we will pass through the Kolar Village, continue along the ridgeline towards the Shakti Khola. Upon arriving Shaktikhor, we visit the Chepang Museum, waterfalls and caves. In the evening, we will have an opportunity to watch the cultural show of Chepang people. Overnight at local homestay at Shaktikhor. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
With all the beautiful memories and a lifetime experience, we take a drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu.
We bid goodbye. Then, you will be transferred to the International Port, Kathmandu. We wish all the best. Looking forward to welcoming you as our guest again sometime in the near future.
