Charleston History Tour

1 hour 45 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

My name is Tricia, and I grew up on these very streets long before Charleston was "discovered" by the rest of the world. I don't just know the history; I’ve lived the neighborhood.
Instead of a deep dive into blueprints, we’ll take a relaxed, scenic stroll through my backyard. I'll share the stories of the homes and families I've known my whole life—from the residences and the local shops to the iconic views at White Point Garden. We’ll take in the breeze at The Battery and I'll point out Fort Sumter, giving you a local’s perspective on the landmarks that define our skyline.
• A True Insider’s View: Hear what it was like to grow up in the heart of the historic district.
• Neighborhood Stories: Learn the "who’s who" and the history behind the beautiful homes we pass.
• The Scenic Route: A comfortable walk through the Battery and the gardens with someone who knows every corner.
Come see the city not as a tourist, but as a guest of someone who has called it home since day one.
