8Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
No matter where you start—whether in Alexandria or Cairo—our driver/guide will pick you up from the location you provide to begin your tour. Upon arrival at the Giza Plateau, you will explore the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World: the Pyramids of Giza. Here, the great pharaohs—Cheops, his son Chephren, and grandson Mykerinus—constructed monumental tombs to protect their bodies in the afterlife. You’ll have free time to take photos and get closer to the pyramids. Then, you'll drive to the western plateau for panoramic views and photo opportunities of the valley and all the pyramids below. Next, you’ll visit the majestic Sphinx, guardian of the mortuary complex. Carved from solid rock around 2650 B.C., the Sphinx has the body of a lion and the head of a man. Here, you’ll have time to take photos and marvel at this mysterious ancient monument.

9Pyramids of Giza
After exploring the Sphinx, you have the option to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. If you prefer, we can also stop for some optional shopping—no pressure, just a relaxing experience to browse local goods. Next, we’ll head to the famous Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square, where you’ll be surrounded by a vast collection of ancient artifacts, including the incredible treasures of King Tutankhamun. If you haven't had lunch yet, we'll go afterward. Once we’ve finished the day's adventures, we’ll head back to your hotel, completing this memorable experience.
