Since ancient times, Oaxaca has stood as the vibrant heart where the many cultures of the state converge. Once the cradle of Mitla and Monte Albán—cities whose splendor illuminated southeastern Mexico—this land remains a living tapestry of tradition and heritage.
Today, Oaxaca City welcomes travelers with the warmth of its people: proud, talented, and eager to share their rich cultural legacy. Whether you’re a visitor from afar or a fellow Mexican, here, you’ll not only discover history and artistry—you’ll feel at home.
Come, immerse yourself in an experience where every corner tells a story, and every encounter feels like a celebration.
