This two days Uganda gorilla trip starts in Kigali with Kigali city tour before transferring to Bwindi National Park for overnight around the park, and then transfer back to Kigali after gorilla tracking the following day reaching Kigali in the evening.
2000 Hotel is a starting point of our tour but if you would like us to offer you a pick-up service from where you will be. Please mention it with your location in booking form or you call us to inform us about your location any time before tour kick off.
You'll be collected from the airport or your hotel or designated location in Kigali. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost. You will be picked from the hotel in Kigali or airport on arrival and go for a Kigali city tour.
Visit the Gisozi genocide memorial.
Nyamata church, local markets among others.
You will then drive northwards to Bwindi National park crossing via Katuna border reaching in the evening.
In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters at 7am for a compulsory pre-tracking briefing from the park warden along with your trekking gear, drinking water and packed lunch. Later proceed to the forest to track the gorillas, an activity that will take you 1-8 hours depending on the movement of the apes in their natural wild. After meeting and staying in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of an hour, you will descend back and the guide will transfer you back to Kigali reaching in the evening. Additional accommodation can be arranged for an extra cost. You'll be dropped off at the airport.
