With Rwanda gorilla trekking Experience, our professional guides will take you for a 2 day visit to see the gorillas in their natural habitat. As you travel to the Volcanoes National Park, take an en-route visit to some of the cultural and historical sites like the genocide memorial site, museums, and local market. You will eventually proceed for the gorilla tracking which is the major activity of the Rwanda gorilla trekking safaris.

    Day 1: Kigali Airport to the Volcanoes National Park

    Volcanoes National Park

    Upon arrival at the Kigali Airport, you will meet and greet our tour guide/driver who will shortly brief you about your Gorilla tour and immediately transfer you to the Volcanoes National Park in the northwest part of this country. If time allows, you will first do the short city tour of Kigali and visit the Kigali Genocide Museum, a grim reminder of a senseless massacre of innocent's lives in 1994. Learn about Rwanda's history from pre-colonial times to the 1994 genocide and what it has all meant for the people of Rwanda since then. After the city tour you will proceed to the Volcanoes National Park. The drive from Kigali to the Volcanoes is through beautiful rolling hills, bypassing coffee, tea and banana plantations on a comfortable paved road and is approximately 3 hours from Kigali. optionally in evening you can go to Mukungwa for canoe ride. after transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.     Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and transfer to Kigali airport

    Wake up early for breakfast and prepare to leave your lodge at 6:30 am for Gorilla Trekking. At the park headquarters, guides will be allocated and briefed. Only eight people can trek each Gorilla Family. Led by experienced ranger guides, we'll search for Mountain Gorillas in the forest, which can take 2 to 6 hours. Once found, we'll spend an hour observing them as they move, feed, play, and rest—an unforgettable experience. Wear long pants, long-sleeve shirts, hiking boots, gaiters, and a rain jacket. After the trek, return to Kigali. Meals provided: breakfast and lunch, with drinking water included.
