Woof, woof! The dog sledding season starts early thanks to our specially prepared snowy trails made from snow stored during the previous winter.
Huskies, one of the most loved animals of the North, are sure to capture your heart. On this tour, you’ll have the chance to pet them, take photos, and learn more about their lives. The highlight is a 3 km ride, where you get to drive your own husky team through the Arctic landscape. Our experienced mushers are there to guide you every step of the way, so you can enjoy the experience like a true Arctic explorer.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Your pick-up time will be confirmed via email from Apukka Resort (the activity provider) within 48 hours of booking. Please make sure you open and read this email!
We offer two pick-up points:
Rovaniemi City Center: at address Korkalonkatu 23, pickup time 50 min before activity starting time.
Santa Claus Village: The bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road, E75, pickup time 35 min before activity starting time.
Please note that if you miss the pick-up, refunds are not available.
Pick-up time from Rovaniemi City Centre (Korkalonkatu 36): 50 minutes before safari starting time.
Pick-up time from Santa Claus village, bus stop by the main road 30 minutes before safari starting time.
If you arrive by your own car or other transportation, please arrive straight to Apukka Resort. There is free parking in Resorts' area. Please arrive 20 minutes before activity departure time.
