Feel the thrill of a short husky ride, meet gentle reindeer up close, and try your balance on snowshoes and cross-country skis. For extra fun, race down the toboggan slide – and let the kids take the wheel of their very own mini snowmobiles.
A delicious lunch is included, rounding off a full day of snowy experiences and unforgettable moments in the heart of Lapland.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Your pick-up time will be confirmed via email from Apukka Resort (the activity provider) within 48 hours of booking. Please make sure you open and read this email!
We offer two pick-up points:
Rovaniemi City Center: at address Korkalonkatu 23, pickup time 50 min before activity starting time.
Santa Claus Village: The bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road, E75, pickup time 35 min before activity starting time.
Please note that if you miss the pick-up, refunds are not available.
If you arrive by your own car or other transportation, please arrive straight to Apukka Resort. There is free parking in Resorts' area. Please arrive 20 minutes before activity departure time.
What to expect
During the day you'll get to try many unforgettable things. You get to go on a short sleigh ride with huskies and meet our reindeer. Try out your skills on snowshoes and cross-country skis. Slide with toboggans - who can make the longest slide? Kids will have fun on the mini snowmobile! During the active day, you’ll enjoy a tasty lunch in our authentic restaurant Aitta.
