Locals rush to their favourite bogs and forests in summer and fall with baskets and buckets to pick vitamin-rich berries. It's a great way to spend time with your friends or family, collect healthy berries, and put them in the freezer to enjoy during the long winter. On this tour, our guide teaches you about picking berries and finding natural ingredients.

We will have a break by the campfire where you can relax while your guide prepares for you traditional Finnish pancakes, or crepes, by the open fire. Depending on the season you may be able to top your snack with freshly picked berries.

Pickup details:

Please arrive on time at the meeting point. The bus will leave exactly on the given time. If you miss the pick up time we will not refund the excursion. The pick-up time from Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 32): 45 minutes before safari starting time. The pick-up from Santa Claus Village bus stop by the main road 30 minutes before safari starting time.
