Pretoria , Capital of the ZAR, the Union of South Africa, the Republic of South Africa and the new South Africa. Experience the Jacaranda City, when it is wrapped in purple haze is a must! One of our stops is at the Union Buildings, home to the president's office, from where you can delight in a panoramic view of the Jacaranda City. We drive pass or point out, Voortrekker Monument, Church Square Statue, Kruger House pr Melrose House, Pretoria City Hall, Museum of Natural History, Pretoria Train Station, Gautrain Train Station and the embassy area.

After the City experience , be driver to Lion Park where you will enjoy a 4x4 Game Drive with a registered guide for 2 hours. Be driven through the 5 separate enclosures, with lions, White Lions, Wild dogs and Cheetahs, roaming in their separate camps.

What to expect

For a perfect combination of culture and wildlife, Start your Tour of Pretoria City, Known as the Jacaranda City. Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. Pretoria city in Gauteng. The atmosphere of Pretoria is quiet and relaxed. The beautiful purple Jacaranda trees are very typical in Pretoria and invite visitors for a stroll in their shade. The architecture is influenced by the Vortrekkers who arrived here in the middle of the 19th century who arrived in the 1850's, to turn their ox-wagons. The avenues are lined with magnificent Jacaranda trees that burst in to bloom every October - hence the name Jacaranda City. Many sculptures and monuments represent the Afrikaner history and Church Square has wonderful examples of fine architecture.

Than enjoy your 4x4 Game drive safari with a professional ranger for 2 hours inside the Park. Lion Park is home to more than 85 Lions and other carnivores such as cheetahs, hyena and wild dog. The herbivores roam freely around the area and visitors are able to view the animals at close proximity at any time. Handling of Lion Cub World (Optional), Hand feeding giraffes and ostriches.
