Our driver guide will pick you up from Dar es Salaam and drive you to Nyerere (Selous) with a picnic lunch to be served on the way. We arrive at the camp early in the afternoon, settle in, and we head for a boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. The river is formed by the confluence of the Kilombero and Luwegu rivers. It is approximately 600 kilometers (370mi) long and here you will see plentiful hippos and crocodiles. The big herds of Tanzanian Elephants are also attracted by the River Rufiji that flows through the reserve. Some 350 bird species can also be found in the Nyerere National park (Selous). Around evening drive back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early morning walking safari, go for a half-day game drive. Around 1 pm we drive back to Dar Es Salaam with a picnic lunch on the way.
