    Pangkalan Bun - Kumai Port - Klotok -Tanjung Harapan Camp

    11:00-13:00 Pick up and transfer to Kumai to board on the boat, passing several Dayak villages 13:30-14:00 Board on the Klotok (traditional riverboat) 14:00-17:00 Stop at first rehabilitation center for orangutan at Tanjung Harapan, just in time for the 15:00 PM feeding. When we arrive at Tanjung Harapan, we will walk through the screw pine and bog forest, and your guide will explain about Tanjung Harapan. We will enjoy the orangutan feeding station until 16:20 PM, then return to the Klotok, where the cook will serve an afternoon snack and soft drinks 17:00-18:30 Explore the quiet river by the Klotok while observing monkeys along the riverside 18:30-19:30 Dinner and overnight on the boat. Simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled mineral water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on the boat 19:30-20:30 Rest

    Tanjung Puting National Park

    06:00-08:00 After breakfast, board the Klotok to travel up the river for about 2 hours to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rainforest 08:00-11:00 Stop at Pondok Tanguy, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans, see feeding time at 09:00 AM. Walk on the wooden platform built by volunteers from around the world to visit the feeding station and to observe orangutans in their natural habitat 11:00-14:00 Enjoy freshly cooked lunch as the boat glides through the river to the next stop 15:00-16:30 Arrive at Camp Leaky where you can do a short trekking to the feeding station and observe how an Alpha male can be the king amongst all. Spend the rest of the day hiking through the rainforest, exploring peat swamps and lowland dipterocarp habitat, searching for wildlife, or enjoying varieties of fungi, orchid, mosses, and ferns 16:30-19:00 Spot proboscis monkeys roosting on trees by the river and a great variety of endemic birds flying by. Relax on your houseboat as it glides down the main river for a magical spectacle of fireflies gathering between the growing nipa palms on the riverside 19:00-00:00 Overnight on the Klotok
