Michael is a true born Amsterdammer and works as a pro photographer for over 30 years. Michael is there to give you local insights and historical facts and priceless tips & tricks to get your photography to the next level.

Michael is conducting “street photo walks” shoots film and digital in his hometown. Specializes in true street photography, urban landscape and portraits in the spirit of Dutch photography masters.

What to expect

From our starting point we give you input and instructions like a pro on how to get the best results from your camera. Discus your personal preferences and then walk towards the north of the Jordaan and meander the canals and the small streets and visit some of the unknown courtyards where locals life and keep gardens. We focus on architecture on street life, the people and connect with locals if possible on a respectful manner. You will be shooting some remarkable images to last and improve your photography.

What we offer is a comprehensive Half-day (3 hours) getting to shoot and fully understand your digital or analog/film photo camera, the different settings and how to shoot the perfect moments.

We go through the whole process of using your digital or analog camera and shooting some great pictures with it. composition, the moment, awareness, and fun it will all be discussed and practised.
Our challenge is to make you shoot with confidence digital or film cameras. Learning to set up exposure and understand the basics. Besides that you will shoot unique lasting pictures in wonderful Amsterdam of people, places and hidden locations in Amsterdam to take home.
