The most common mode of transport in Sri Lanka is via a three-wheeled automobile appropriately referred to as Tuk-Tuk’s from the noise of their motors. If you have not been in a TUK TUK you have not visited Sri Lanka. The best and most enjoyable way of creeping through the busy streets of Colombo.
You will be picked up by the vehicle at Port or your Hotel in Colombo and then you will start the TUK TUK ride through the busy streets of Colombo (Approx. 30 – 45 Minutes). Then you will be transferred back to the Air Conditioned Vehicle with the Chauffeur guide for the remainder of the tour which includes seeing Colombo attractions such as the Residential area and areas of historical significance; Cinnamon Gardens, Old Parliament, Victoria Park, Town Hall, Jamiul Alfar Mosque and the Gangaramaya Temple

Continue aboard your motorized ride as you check out city sights like Colombo Harbour, the Fort Clock Tower, Colombo Lighthouse, and the President’s House. Then pass by Chatham Street, a now-trendy area that was off-limits for many years due to Sri Lanka’s civil war. Proceed from there to Pettah, a Colombo neighborhood that’s known for its diverse range of market stalls and the Red Mosque. Stop for 20 to 30 minutes to grab some street snacks or shop for bargains.
Head next to Sri Kaileshwarm Kovil (Captain’s Garden Hindu Temple), the main worship site for Colombo residents, and then proceed to Independence Square, the location where Sri Lanka proclaimed its independence from British rule in 1948.
Head to a Tea Factory where you can get the experience of pure Ceylon Tea with tasting it (Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry) are very famous flavours among them
Make the last stop of the day at Gangaramaya Temple, one of the most important Buddhist temples in Colombo. Explore the architecture and paintings of this religious site before cross the street to Bera Lake, where you can learn more about the some of the contemporary issues like pollution facing city residents.
