Come join us and choose your own adventure on this 26-foot Hewescraft vessel. This boat was built specifically for whale watching or fishing in extreme comfort. This small group excursion will take you away from the crowds and will allow you to view whales up close and personal or take you on a Halibut fishing adventure. Call for private charters. This boat takes only five passengers at a time for whale watching, and only four passengers for fishing.

Meeting and pickup
Meet at Excursion Hub for INDEPENDENT tours. From Ocean Landing Pier, follow dock into the Adventure Center, exit out Door #2, follow signs along path to Excursion Hub - a two min walk from Door 2. From Wilderness Landing pier, take Green Transporter, exit left & follow signs to Excursion Hub.

Icy Strait Point (Pass by)
For 2.5 hours you’ll be traveling through the waters of Icy Strait – home to a wide array of wildlife including Orcas (killer whales), Stellar sea lions, sea otters, Harbor seals, Dall’s porpoise, and the magnificent humpback whale. Keep an eye out for brown bears and Sitka Black-tailed deer meandering the shoreline, and the noble Bald eagle perched on tree-tops.

Whale watching in Icy Strait can take you to Point Adolphus, the world-renowned spot for extraordinary whale viewing. On this whale watching cruise, you will visit the most active playground of humpback whales in Southeast Alaska, where whale sightings are guaranteed! Breathtaking vistas of land and sea and Alaska’s magnificent creatures in the wild - this adventure is unforgettable.

- Mobility challenged guests can take the care cart to Excusion hub meet point but plan for 30 minutes extra to get there on time
