Pu Luong Nature Reserve is located only 130 kilometers to the northwest of Thanh Hoa City and is a part of both the Ba Thuoc and Quan Hoa districts.
Pu Luong, which has an area of more than 17.600 hectares with a diverse system of flora and fauna, impresses visitors with the magnificence of its primary forests, rice terraces, pure atmosphere, and the tranquil way of life of the regional ethnic minorities. It is an alluring location for travelers who love the outdoors and want to travel to new places.

6:30AM: Bus picks you up at Ha Noi Opera House then depart from Hanoi and go ahead to Pu Luong. After 4 hours, arrive at Tom village in the Pu Luong area and you will transfer to Hieu Waterfall by motorbike for lunch. Check in Homestay and relax… Around 2:30 pm, our group will join a walking tour to discover Hieu village and the surrounding area, including: Climbing 9 floors of Hieu Waterfall, bathing in waterfalls, visiting terraced fields and local stilt house for drinking tea with village people to learn about the typical culture of the Black Thai ethnic group. Enjoy the sunset, have dinner and overnight at homestay in Pu Luong.
Wake up in the morning to have breakfast and check out. After that, our tour guide will pick you up for a trek of about 7km to visit the waterwheels at La Ka village and take pictures. Then we keep trekking to another place to know about the bathing culture of the Thai people at Mo Nuoc in Lan Trong village. On the way, you can visit the local market (only open on Thursday or Sunday), where you can see a lot of local produces that are sold by local people, like: bamboo shoots, fruits, chickens, ducks, puppies, kitties, vegetables,… with colorful items.
After that, we keep trekking to Lan Ngoai village, a long-standing weaving village. People here weave cloth to serve the people in the region with brocade sheets with very delicate patterns, showing the ingenuity of Thai girls. If you want, you can buy something there as a gift for your friends and family members (NOT compulsory). Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then, with a motorbike, you will go to Tom village to take the bus/van back to Ha Noi. Arrive in Ha Noi Opera House at 6:30PM. Tour ends.
