Enjoy a thrilling horseback riding experience in the Cotopaxi National Park and have a spectacular view of the Andes Mountains. Our guide will pick you up at 7:00 a.m. to go to "El Pedregal", located in the Southeast of Quito, among the Rumiñahui, Pasochoa, Sincholagua, and Cotopaxi volcanoes! Once you arrive at a traditional hacienda of the Andes, and get a "canelazo" as a welcome drink, you have the opportunity to wear typical costumes of the Ecuadorian Chagra. This full-day tour from Quito includes a 2-hour horseback adventure and explores the most iconic volcano of Ecuador.

What to expect

Explore the Cotopaxi National Park by horseback riding and going through volcanic rock ravines, several Historical Haciendas, and indigenous communities in a full-day trip from Quito. After 2 and a half -hours of horseback riding you will visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon. Take a short hike in the surroundings of Limpiopungo Valley before driving ever-higher into this sky-high region, stopping at the 15,800-feet (4830-meter) Padre Rivas Refuge. (optional hike)
You will experience different landscapes, either choosing a long tour going through different mountains or a simple tour on roads going through the forest and communities. Return to Quito.
