Highland View Galapagos
Pick-up at the airport by our certified guide. Then, your guide will pick you up at the airport and drive up to the ranch in the highlands. This area concentrates vast extensions of forests of Scalesia, Miconia, and giant tortoises. This is a great place to observe these iconic animals in their natural habitat. We will visit lava tunnels and the twin craters of the Galapagos; it is a rewarding visit for nature-loving tourists. The lush green landscape of the highlands stands in stark contrast to the more arid coastlines of the lowlands, providing a very different Galapagos experience. Lookouts over the crater sinkholes show off the stunning scenery, and there are plenty of interesting birds too. Overnight in a hotel in Santa Cruz.

Depending on the dates and/or navigable site available, pick-up from the hotel will be early in the morning (6-or 7:00 am) to take you to the small vessel at the embarkation point in Puerto Ayora for a unique experience with Galapagos wildlife and endemic vegetation. The destination can be either Santa Fe, South Plazas, North Seymour, Pinzon, or Floreana. The activities will include hiking, snorkeling, swimming, and breathtaking sightseeing. After land and sea excursions, we will return back to the hotel in Santa Cruz where you can relax

Charles Darwin Station, Hike to Tortuga Bay or Navigable Tour

Charles Darwin Research Station
Option 1. Charles Darwin Station, Hike to Tortuga Bay / (B, L) Charles Darwin Station which is an international scientific research station situated on the outskirts of Puerto Ayora. You will be taken to the visitor center to learn about geology, climate, natural history, and the conservation of the Galapagos Islands. After lunch, we take a 50-minute hike (each way) to Tortuga Bay through a unique dry forest. Along the hike, you will find many birds and interesting plants. When you reach the beach, you will hardly believe your eyes, as this is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Galapagos. Relax on its fine sands or in its turquoise waters!

Home to the largest town in the Galapagos, Puerto Ayora, the Island has a large variety of vegetation. Pit craters, Scalesia Forest, cacti, and ferns are found in its vegetation zones. The island comprises a younger part formed by volcanic cones and lava and an older narrow strip of land formed by uplifted lava flows and stuffs. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Quito or Guayaquil. Arrival and connection with the international flight.
