Meet your guide and board a vehicle heading south of Quito and towards Cotopaxi National Park. On the way, you will enjoy the beautiful views of the Andes Mountain range and gorgeous natural scenery. Once you reach the National Park, you will visit the Interpretation Center and Limpiopungo lagoon. Take a short hike in the surrounding Limpiopungo valley before driving ever-higher into this sky-high region, stopping at the 15,800-feet (4830-meter) Padre Rivas Refuge. Depending on your physical condition, you will get the Glacier (5050-meter) Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant that offers typical Ecuadorian meals. Overnight at a selected hotel in Cotopaxi.
Travel through the Avenue of the Volcanoes and pass through the Pujilí small town. You will also visit an indigenous local house from the “Paramos” to learn about their traditions and way of life.
After your visit, head to the town of Tigua, famous for its naive paintings.
you will be able to descend to the lake located inside the crater or just walk around the crater. You will also be able to enjoy an unforgettable experience by mule back riding or kayaking in the lake. Lunch and continue up our trip to Baños.
Visit the famous “Swing at the End of the World” at La Casa del Árbol and take in an amazing view of the gorgeous mountain landscapes. Overnight in Baños.
Breakfast in the hotel. Early in the morning, you can enjoy canopy, bike, horseback ride, canyoning, or rafting.
You will depart to Puyo, where you will enjoy lunch, and walk in the jungle in the Reserve Hola Vida for 2 hours, to learn about the plants and trees of the Amazon, and also visit a waterfall where you can swim. Visit the indigenous community where you can participate in traditional dancing, and use the blowpipe; in their museum, you can purchase some handicrafts like necklaces, bracelets, or pottery.
Pailon del Diablo, the most stunning waterfall in Ecuador. You´ll also ride a cable car over the Pastaza River and experience one of the most extraordinary sights you’ve ever seen, with 360-degree views of waterfalls, mountains, and beautiful landscapes. For the rest of your time, you can take optional activities such as rock climbing, trekking, bikes, and more with extra cost. After lunch, we will drive back to Quito.
