Next, you’ll hop on a 4x4 jeep and explore Mount Merapi area, driving down paths not frequented by tourists & getting filmic views of the lush landscape. This is definitely a must for any tourist looking to mellow out and appreciate Indonesia’s tranquil nature. End your journey at the biggest Hindu Temple in Asia which is Prambanan Temple. This temple is built between the 8th and 10th centuries, the mighty heritage site complex celebrates both Hindu and Buddhist beliefs and the scale is so impressive there’s a small train to help you get around.
