Experience a thrilling and scenic river tubing adventure on the Paiva River, just outside Porto. Sit back on an inflatable tube that will serve as a floating lounge chair, an unpredictable vessel to make the small rapids all the more fun. The challenge is to choose the best channel to descend the small rapids of this river section. In between the adrenaline-pumping rapid rides, you’ll have time to relax and take in the nature around you. Halfway through, there is an opportunity for those who want to make some jumps into the water! Come and live these moments of pure fun on the river, with your friends or your family. The Paiva River, will become your favourite water park!

Meeting and pickup

You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Option with Pick-up at the Hotel, the Pick-up will occur at 8h00. Options with Pick-up at Vimara Peres Statue will occur at 8h30. Your driver will be right by the statue holding a white sign with a logo.

In the Option that doesnt include Pick-up and Drop-off at the Hotel, the meeting point will be in this location, Vimara Peres Statue. Your driver will be holding a white plate with the "JUST COME" logo.

What to expect

Meet your driver in Porto and travel to the Arouca Unesco Geopark. After a safety briefing, gear up and head to the river. Feel your heart pumping on the rapids. Take a break on the calmer portions of the river and take in the views of the nearby riverside village, Paradinha.

After the activity, rest and enjoy a nice meal!

As we finish our activity, we’ll start making our way back to Porto — but first, we’ll stop in the charming town of Arouca. Here, you’ll have a chance to relax, enjoy a cold drink, and try a local snack at a traditional restaurant in the historic center.
If you’ve booked the lunch-included option, you’ll be served the region’s typical dish: Arouquesa roasted veal, along with a drink of your choice (wine included). For those who prefer the vegetarian option, we offer a rich and flavorful vegetable feijoada, served with white rice.

For desert, you'll taste some of the ancient Conventual Pastry, next to its origin, the Arouca's Santa Maria Monastery.
