Day 1
Dar es Salaam to Selous

You will be picked by your driver/guide at 0800hrs from hotel, ferry or airport and start driving to Selous GR with a short stop in Kibiti town for hot lunch. Driving to Selous will take about 6 to 7 hours. Arrive for boat safari starting from 1630hrs until sunset. Boat safari brings you into close contact with hippo, crocodile and fantastic birdlife. Animals make their way to the river to drink and boat may approach elephant, waterbuck and other on the river banks to within a few meters. Crocodile glide into the water as your boat approaches and hippo appear in frightening proximity, grunting and blowing steam.

Day 2
Full day game drive in Selous game reserve

After early breakfast you will go out for full day game drive until sunset where you can drive back to you camp for dinner and overnight. The reserve covers a total area of 54,600 km2 and has additional buffer zones. Its wildlife is spectacular, with some of its mammal and reptile populations are largest in Africa, namely buffaloes, elephants, hippos, wild dogs and crocodiles. Other wildlife include the lions, leopards, cheetah, spotted hyena, wildebeest, impala, water buck, zebra, eland, the greater kudu, sable antelopes, giraffe, baboon, the vervet monkeys,
