  Sirince

  Şirince is a lovely village with lovely history, great views, lovely food, entertainment and so many more. Perhaps the perfect synthesis between a Turkish traditional village and a Greek traditional village. Actually, the village, the name of which in Turkish really means "sweet," used to be known as "Cirkince," which means "ugly," an ironic impression on the beauty of the village and also used to prevent others. As people knew that the town's site and architecture were really spectacular, in 1926 they changed their name into Sirince. The village of Sirince in Izmir is very attractive and famous for its homemade wines and its traditional architecture. It is a small village in the mountains and it is perfect for seeing natural Turkey. All through the village are shops where you can put your wine tasting skills to the test. If you find yourself on the Aegean coast of Turkey then be sure to take a visit to Sirince.

  Ready for a very traditional yummy Turkish lunch? Since Sirince is so renowned for its fresh produce the food you eat here is not surprising. The village offers typical breakfast and lunches, some of the best restaurants that you ever have. Local herbs have been chosen from the hills and often prepared using the smoothest local olive oil in many of our most important meals.

  Şirince means homemade sweet fruity wines. You never miss this opportunity of tasting local wines in the Village, Through all the village, shops where you can test your wine-tasting skills and yes, this is why we are here to delve in a local experience here in this lovely Anatolian village.
