Rich Biodiversity: Kruger boasts a remarkable variety of wildlife. Not only is it home to the Big 5, but it also shelters hundreds of other mammals, and over 500 bird species. This makes it an exceptional location for safaris, offering the chance to see a vast array of creatures in their natural habitat.
Diverse Landscapes: The park encompasses a wider range of landscapes than many other African reserves. Visitors can explore mountains, bushveld (shrubland), and even fever tree forests, all within Kruger's borders. This variety creates a richer wildlife experience.
Historical Significance: Kruger has a long human history, with evidence of settlements dating back millions of years. The park preserves over 255 archaeological sites, showcasing Stone Age tools, Iron Age settlements, and more recent historical structures. This adds another layer of interest to the park.
