This self-guided city game uses the Questo app to lead you through 15 chapters across 3.64 km of Enschede. Start anytime at the train station, follow the thread of the city's textile history from the old town to the former factory district. No guide or fixed schedule: just you and a ghost story 200 years in the making.
Your path takes you through the haunted manor of the Van Heek textile dynasty, the 1827 Factory School, the city's oldest church, the Van Heek Villa, the old spinning mill on Molenstraat, a candlelit graveyard, the Rijksmuseum path, and the remnants of the 2000 fireworks disaster site.
