This murder mystery experience is a true whodunit with suspects, alibis and a twist ending. It involves open world gameplay, where you receive a set of leads (locations) in St. Augustine's Historic Downtown that you have to visit, in any order. At each location, you will solve a puzzle by interacting with something real, a plaque, a statue, a facade, and collect the evidence to piece together the case and find the culprit.

We offer 24/7 customer support and built-in hints to guarantee that you never stay stuck. The app will also provide real historical facts and local legends about the landmarks you're visiting.

You can play anytime, at any hour. It will take you ~90-120 minutes with optional cafe breaks and you can pause and resume whenever.

Total walking distance is about 1.5 miles and the game ends in the same area where it started.

What to expect

Become the lead investigator in a self-guided murder mystery game that turns St. Augustine's Historic District into your own crime scene. Your case: a romantic speed-dating night ended with a scream, one of the guests is dead, and the killer has fled the scene. As the new detective, you will start on in Plaza de la Constitución, where the app hands you the case file and your first lead. The trail will take you through the colonial quarter, past landmarks like the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, Spanish Military Hospital Museum and Karpeles Manuscript Library. At each stop you will investigate your surroundings (inscriptions, statues, plaques, facades, etc.) to solve a puzzle that will reveal a piece of evidence. Every puzzle unlocks the instructions for the next chapter, plus some fun historical facts about the locations you're visiting.

You can play alone or bring your whole group. The game can be played all day, any day: just book a ticket and play whenever you want. It ends in the same area where it starts and will take you about 90-120 minutes (including optional coffee breaks that you can take whenever you like). The total walking distance is about 1.5 miles (2.5 km).
