This murder mystery experience is a true whodunit with suspects, alibis and a twist ending. It involves open world gameplay, where you receive a set of leads (locations) that you have to visit and you decide the order. At each location, you will solve a puzzle by interacting with something real, a plaque, a statue, a facade in the Cairns city centre, and collect the evidence to piece together the case and find the culprit.
We offer 24/7 customer support and built-in hints to guarantee that you never stay stuck. The app will also provide real historical facts and local legends about the landmarks you're visiting.
You can play anytime, at any hour. It will take you ~90-120 minutes with optional cafe breaks and you can pause and resume whenever.
Total walking distance is about 1.5 miles and the game ends in the same area where it started.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The game starts on the Cairns Esplanade. Before heading out to play, make sure to have downloaded the app "Questo" on your phone and created an account with the same email used for booking. The game will be automatically unlocked and available in the section.
What to expect
The trail will take you along the waterfront and through the city centre, past landmarks like the Esplanade Lagoon, The Fish sculpture and the Cairns Art Gallery. At each stop you will investigate your surroundings (inscriptions, statues, plaques, facades, etc.) to solve a puzzle that will reveal a piece of evidence. Every solved puzzle unlocks the instructions for the next chapter, plus some fun historical facts about the locations you're visiting. You can play alone or bring your whole group.
The game can be played all day, any day: just book a ticket and play whenever you want. It ends near the same area where it starts and will take you about 90-120 minutes (including optional coffee breaks that you can take whenever you like). The total walking distance is about 1.5 miles (2.5 km).
