By day, Cherry Creek North is all boutiques, galleries and patios. Once the shops close, its leafy blocks between First and Third Avenue go quiet, and that's when this self-guided ghost hunt works best.
The Questo app turns your phone into the hunt's headquarters. Ten ghosts haunt the neighborhood, none of them real, and each is stuck on how it died: a bride poisoned through her bouquet, a senator lured out on a rainy night, a professor killed by a shelf someone had loosened. You catch each one by solving its puzzle, and each catch gives you a clue. One ghost is lying, and naming it is how the game ends.
The loop starts and finishes on Fillmore Street, covers about 1.2 miles and takes around 90 minutes. Go whenever suits you, on your own or with friends. Hints and 24/7 support are there if a puzzle has you stuck.
The game starts at Fillmore Street at First Avenue. After booking, we'll message you a code and activation link. Activate with your own email, then log in to the Questo app with that email. The game opens on Fillmore Street, in the middle of Cherry Creek North. The app swears you in as a ghost hunter with a test of sight: a glowing circle of symbols with one number missing. A few steps down First Avenue, your first catch is a bride whose flowers wither the moment she touches them.
Across First Avenue from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, a 29-year-old doctor is still on shift, and you'll read his 1952 blood chart for the type he should have used. Then the hunt heads up Steele Street and along Second Avenue, with four ghosts in a few blocks: an actor's coded lines, a senator's case file to put in date order, a teacher's register with a child who never existed, and an antique dealer's stock full of fakes.
The last ghosts gather between Third Avenue and Clayton Lane, near the neighborhood library. You'll find the book that unlocks a librarian's closet, match a professor's artifacts to their civilizations, plan a hotel evacuation, and look into a priest who vanished after finding a cult's mark on his organ. Back on Fillmore Street, the ten clues point to the ghost who lied.
