Stroll through the city centre to Piazza Duomo along with your knowledgeable tour guide. With skip-the-line entry, you can climb to the top of Brunelleschi’s Dome for a spectacular view of Florence. The Dome itself is a symbol of the city, famous for its design and architectural engineering.

Note that your Dome ticket also allows you entry to the Cathedral, the Crypt, the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Museo dell’Opera. Tickets are valid for 72 hours from first entry.

    Meet your guide by Dante's statue in front of the famous Basilica di Santa Croce or, if your hotel is central located, meet her in the lobby and start your walking tour from there.

    Then, your tour takes you past the “Porcellino” (little pig) market, and on to Florence’s oldest bridge, the Ponte Vecchio. You’ll learn about the bridge’s rich history, and how the Vasari Corridor dramatically changed the shops that line the bridge.

    The political centre of Florence, Piazza della Signoria, is next,

    Then the Piazza Duomo where you’ll marvel at the Cathedral’s unique marble decoration, and of course, Brunelleschi’s Dome.

    At this point on the tour, your guide will give you instructions to get to the top of the Dome with your skip-the-line tickets. Wear comfortable shoes! There are 463 steps (no elevator), but the views are worth it!
