Our two-hour guided jeep tours into and around the Ramon Crater start and finish in Mitzpe Ramon.
Led by an experienced local driver-guide, the tour focuses on storytelling and geological explanations rather than the driving itself. Using our 4x4 vehicles, we take you to the most fascinating and scenic spots—many of which are not accessible by regular car or bus.

Our next stop is the Ramon Riverbed, a normally dry watercourse where we will explain the fascinating geology of this impressive erosional landscape and clarify why it is not actually a “crater.”

A good guide also reads the group and adapts the experience accordingly, taking into account both interest levels and current weather conditions. On particularly hot days, our next stop may be shifted to the shade of a large Acacia tree or to a nearby Neolithic (Stone Age) archaeological site for a more comfortable and engaging visit.

4Ramon Crater
