Don't forget, we'll pick you up at your hotel bright and early at 4:30 AM and leave for Can Tho City. It takes approximately 3 hours to get to the City. The Cai Rang Floating Market is bustling from sunrise until around 9 AM, and that's when we'll head there by boat, about a 30-minute ride. You'll have the chance to hop on a merchant boat and check out all the colorful fruits like mangoes, rambutans, longans, and the "King of fruit" durian. While on the boat, you'll taste some delicious street foods like Pho, Bun Rieu, Com Tam, and Hu Tieu. We'll also see how noodles and rice paper "Banh Trang" are made and take a leisurely walk around the countryside. Of course, we can't miss out on trying tropical fruits, sipping hot tea, and going on a fun fishing trip. After that, we'll head to Vinh Long - Cai Be.
Join our cooking class and have lunch at a homestay in Tan Phong Islet in Vinh Long Province. Immerse yourself in the local culture by pedaling a bicycle, kayaking, and participating in spiritual activities that are part of the South Vietnam cultural heritage. We will walk along the canal bank to visit local specialties in the Mekong, such as Pop Rice Cake, Coconut Candy, and Tropical Rice Wine. Afterward, we will return to the boat to explore the Kingdom of Vinh Long Red Pottery, representing the Mekong Delta's traditional aesthetic and culture. Next, we'll stop at a local village for a rowing boat sampan ride, which will take you deeper into the countryside through smaller canals lined with mangrove trees and various fruits. You'll also have the chance to listen to local artists perform music and taste seasonal fruits in the Mekong Delta in Cai Be. The tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel around 5:00 PM.
