Morning 7:30 AM: Pick-up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Depart for Tien Giang Province, your first stop: Cruise along the Tien River, a tributary of the mighty Mekong. Visit a coconut candy workshop and a local bee farm. Experience live performances of traditional Vietnamese folk music while enjoying seasonal tropical fruits.
Afternoon: Arrive in Sa Dec City for lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Huynh Thuy Le ancient house, a national heritage site known for its unique East-West architecture and famous love story. Wander through Sa Dec Flower Village, covering over 500 hectares and home to 2,000 species of ornamental flowers — the largest flower village in the Mekong Delta. Evening Check-in at your chosen accommodation: Option 1: Homestay — Participate in a Vietnamese cooking class and enjoy dinner. Option 2: Standard City Hotel — Relax and savor a delicious dinner at a local restaurant (dinner is not included).
Morning Depart to Gieng Island by motor rickshaw: Observe local life, including fish farming, basket weaving, and the making of incense sticks. Visit: Cu Lao Gieng Church (built in 1877) — one of the oldest churches in southern Vietnam. Phuoc Thanh Pagoda (built in 1872) — home to a giant 39-meter-high Amitabha Buddha statue.
Afternoon Explore Tram Chim National Park: Enjoy a 1.5-hour boat tour through the park's wetlands. Witness a variety of bird species and the lush natural environment of this Ramsar-recognized site. Depart back to Ho Chi Minh City. Evening Drop-off at your hotel around 5:00 PM.
