Between pine forests, gravel roads and pollution-free air, La Cumbrecita is one of the most popular destinations in the Cordoba mountains.
This town, 118 kilometers from Córdoba, is the only pedestrian town in Argentina. Its calm rhythm, direct contact with nature and outdoor activities have been a source of admiration for many countries around the world.
Visitors will be able to approach the entrance of the place, park their cars on the communal beach and adjust their shoes to walk the central streets of La Cumbrecita. Entering this commune is starting a journey of tranquility, in which the hand of man and nature found a perfect balance.
Start your day early, and board a comfortable, air-conditioned car at 8:30am. Sit back and enjoy this journey of around 9 or 10 hours. You will be guided by a native guide from Córdoba. This trip will pass through some towns like Alta Gracia, then we will take you to a high view point of Los Molinos lake. After 2 hours of climbing through the forests of the Sierras Grandes, we will arrive at La Cumbrecita, an alpine-style pedestrian village where you can take one of the best photos of your trip. In La Cumbrecita you will have time to visit the place and have something to eat. (3-4 hours) The next stop will be Villa General Belgrano, a German-style town where you can have some craft beers. (2-3 hours) The tour will end in the same place we started.
