Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Tirana to Shkoder, one of Albania’s oldest and most historic cities. After exploring Shkoder, we continue our journey to Lepushe, a peaceful mountain village in the heart of the Kelmend region. Surrounded by dramatic peaks, crystal-clear rivers, and untouched alpine beauty, Lepushe is the perfect gateway to the Albanian Alps. Upon arrival, you’ll check into a cozy traditional guesthouse, where you’ll experience the warmth and hospitality of the local community. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a gentle 2-hour hike through lush valleys, past rivers and waterfalls, and into the heart of Kelmend. Along the way, we’ll visit the Bashkimi Canyon and the beautiful Waterfall of Kelmend, offering a perfect first taste of the region’s natural wonders. Day 2
From Lepushe to Vajusha peak and Vusanje

After enjoying the stunning views from Vajusha Peak, we begin our descent toward the remote mountain village of Vusanje. The trail leads us through peaceful alpine landscapes, with panoramic views accompanying us all the way down. Vusanje, located near the Albanian-Montenegrin border, is known for its quiet charm and dramatic mountain setting. Far from the crowds, this tranquil village offers a perfect place to rest and reflect after a day of hiking. In the evening, you'll settle into a cozy guesthouse, where a warm traditional Albanian dinner awaits. On Day 3, we’ll set out on a scenic and rewarding hike from Vusanje to Theth, passing through some of the most stunning landscapes in the Albanian Alps. Arriving in Theth, you'll discover one of Albania’s most iconic mountain villages. Known for its stone houses, the historic Lock-In Tower, and dramatic alpine scenery, Theth feels like a step back in time. After a short rest, we’ll explore the village and hike to the famous Blue Eye of Theth, a vibrant natural spring surrounded by lush greenery. This day is a perfect mix of nature, history, and cultural immersion. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner and overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse in Theth.

Day 4
From Theth to Valbona

Day 5
From Valbona to Komani Lake and back to Tirana

On the final day, enjoy a relaxing morning in Valbona, surrounded by dramatic alpine scenery. You’ll have time for a short hike to a nearby viewpoint or waterfall, perfect for soaking in the last moments of the Albanian Alps. Later, we’ll drive to Koman, where a scenic boat ride across Koman Lake awaits. Known for its fjord-like beauty, the lake offers an unforgettable journey through narrow canyons and towering cliffs—one of Albania’s most iconic natural experiences. After the boat ride, we’ll begin our return to Tirana, driving through picturesque landscapes as we leave the mountains behind.
