We provide free pickup and drop-off from any hotel, villa, or guesthouse in Udawalawe town and nearby areas (within 4 km of the park). If you are staying outside Udawalawe, pickup can be arranged from Embilipitiya, Thanamalvila, or Wellawaya at an additional cost. Please contact us after booking to confirm your pickup location and exact time. For travelers coming from Colombo, Galle, Ella, or other major destinations, we can also arrange private transport to Udawalawe — ask us for details.

What to expect

Enjoy a private 4-hour safari adventure inside Udawalawe National Park, one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see wild elephants. After meeting your driver, you will travel by an open 4x4 customized jeep through the park.

During the safari, you can watch elephants in their natural habitat, as well as buffalo, crocodiles, monkeys, deer, and many species of birds.
