Journey northwest from Valencia across rolling plains as the mountains of Aragon rise. After a scenic drive of just over two hours, arrive in Teruel, a provincial capital rich in legend and artistry. Explore the historic center and discover the Lovers of Teruel, immortalized in the Mausoleum of the Lovers, a 13th-century monument telling Spain’s version of Romeo and Juliet. Admire Teruel’s winding streets, elegant towers, and warm terracotta tones, including the cathedral, San Pedro Church, and tiled towers.
Continue to Albarracín, a storybook village perched on a rocky bend of the Guadalaviar River and surrounded by ancient walls, often hailed as one of Spain’s most beautiful towns. See pastel-red houses, wooden balconies over cobbled lanes, stone archways, and the Moorish castle and walls while your guide shares stories of its history and art preservation. Enjoy free time to explore, shop, or lunch before returning to Valencia, savoring one last view of Aragon’s rugged beauty.

Meeting and pickup
Each of our tours is private and customizable, including your start and end locations. Our guides will pick you up from a location of your choice at the beginning of each tour and drop you off where you prefer. All pick-ups and drop-offs must be in or around Valencia city center (including the bus and train stations) or the port of Valencia. We are happy to coordinate pick-ups or drop-offs outside of the city center, including in neighboring towns or at the airport for an additional fee. Please inquire for more information.
