There is also more to Nepal than mountains. The royal cities of the Kathmandu valley are magnificent and there are numerous intricately carved temples and grand Buddhist stupas as well as national parks where tigers lurk, and rhinos have been brought back from the brink of extinction. The youngsters will love а family holiday in Nepal. From Kathmandu with іt’ѕ wandering sacred cows, the living goddess, and dreadlocked holy men, to the exhilarating outdoor sports. Even, the most reluctant naturalist will love the ‘thrill of the chase’ in Chitwan National Park, trying to find the elusive Bengal tiger. Active youngsters will enjoy the possibility to hike into the mountains while others will hone their haggling skills.
A guide or representative will be there with your name board in front of the arrival hall at the airport.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our local representative in front of the arrival gate with a display board of Around The World Travel. You’ll get a transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the airport to the Kathmandu Valley, a touristic city.
The trip starts at your hotel in the morning. Local insights into Kathmandu can be found on the day. In the afternoon, you can visit Pashupatinath, a Hindu religious shrine and cremation on the river bank, and in the evening, you can visit Boudhanath, an enormous Tibetan temple. The resident of monkeys will be with you on the stairway. The entire Kathmandu valley will see a great sunset view.
With less than an hour's drive, Bhaktapur is an old medieval city. The narrow streets and traditional buildings of the Old City are fantastic. It is the second royal city and a UNESCO heritage site. It is a pottery town, so you'll meet many local artisans making pottery pieces of stuff in the pottery square.
The old capital city of Kathmandu valley was called Bhaktapur Durbar square. We can investigate the Newari culture, history, Tradition, Fiesta, and celebration. UNESCO's heritage sites are some of their most excellent and lavishly cut examples. The Lion Gate, the Picture Gallery, the Golden Gate, and the Palace of 55 Windows are more than 100 feet tall. We can see Nagarkot for the sunset view after a small hike to Sankhu.
A trek from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel takes approximately five hours and has fantastic views of the entire Kathmandu valley. The moderate path descends on a few factors and is an alternative to the downhill path. The ridge leads to Nala and gives a panoramic view of the valley. Ghimire Gaun is where the trail keeps going. In February, some of the tracks may look muddy and slippery. Make sure you visit the temple simultaneously as you travel to the other side of the world. The Buddhist Shrine of Lokeshwor, also called Nala Karuna Maya, is one of the two principal Temples and is an extraordinary four-story temple.
The trail leads from the most charming villages to those that are not as charming but still lovely. You eventually find a Tibetan Buddhist village Namobuddha, with beautiful chortens and monasteries. Stay overnight in the sanctuary and attend an impressive evening service of the Buddha. The most charming part of the trip was dinner with a monk. And practice meditation in the morning after we got back from our hike.
You can explore ancient temples on the trek to legend village. On the way, there is a living museum and complete rural landscapes. The host family will introduce the culture and offer a culinary course.
Chitwan National Park is home to the most famous Asian wildlife and flora. You spend a few nights in Chitwan, but it is a long day drive to reach there. However, it is possible to discover cultural insights and explore wildlife. In the evening, you can stroll through the village and talk to the locals. The villagers perform a cultural dance during the welcome ceremony.
Chitwan Jungle activities include an elephant safari, birdwatching, and a tour of an authentic Indian village. A buffet breakfast will follow it. Early morning is the best time for wildlife adventures. You'll enjoy the sights and sounds of the morning and perhaps have a chance to see one of these animals. On your way to River for refreshment, you may visit the Elephant breeding center in the afternoon. This is the perfect trip for a jeep safari around the jungle. Tharu dance is one of the many cultural performances in Kathmandu that you should experience at night. Although we do not endorse elephant rides in many of our destinations, we believe the elephant rides here are a positive force for preserving the environment.
After having breakfast, we will drive to Chitlang via Daman, which is on the outskirts of Mumbai. Many hills have rhododendrons, which are pretty to look at. There will be the best spot for viewing the Annapurna and Everest in Nepal when the weather allows. However, if you visit a small village in India called Chitlang, you will find yourself in another world.
There is a lot of exciting stuff to see in Swochandara village, so you should make an excursion to explore it. First, we will go for a short boat ride, arriving in Kulekhani for a relaxing stopover. There is a human-made lake on the outskirts of Kathmandu that we can stop and visit a few times before driving back to Kathmandu.
